Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
This policy explains how PostActions handles information when creators build PostActions Links and viewers use public action pages.
What we collect
For anonymous creators, PostActions stores the PostActions Link details you submit, a browser session identifier, and technical request data needed to run the service.
For signed-in creators, Clerk provides identity details such as user ID and email. Stripe handles payment details; PostActions stores only Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and subscription state.
When you ask PostActions to extract details from a social post, URL, or uploaded image, the content you provide may be processed by technical extraction providers so we can identify event details and prefill your draft.
For viewers, PostActions may record page views and action taps such as calendar, maps, link, call, and share events. Analytics are limited on Free links and more complete for Pro features.
For abuse prevention, PostActions may process technical security signals such as IP address, browser headers, and verification results.
How we use data
We use submitted PostActions Link data to create and serve public action pages.
We use account and subscription data to provide Pro features, billing access, and support.
We use aggregate interaction analytics to show creators how their links perform and to improve the product.
We use extraction results to suggest event details, but creators should review and confirm those details before publishing.
We use technical security signals to detect unusual publishing volume, prevent automated abuse, and protect public PostActions Link creation.
Public content
Published PostActions Links are public pages. Anyone with the URL may be able to view the event details, images, descriptions, links, locations, phone numbers, and other actions you choose to publish.
Avoid publishing private, sensitive, confidential, or third-party information unless you have the right and permission to share it publicly.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. PostActions does not store card numbers or full payment credentials.
Subscription lifecycle events from Stripe are used to update Pro access and billing status.
Data sharing
We use service providers such as Cloudflare, Clerk, Stripe, and technical extraction providers to host, authenticate, bill for, secure, and operate the service.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies, analytics, and local storage
PostActions may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies to remember preferences such as language, maintain sessions, support security checks, and improve the product.
PostActions may use first-party analytics and privacy-conscious infrastructure to understand aggregate traffic, measure link performance, and improve the product.
International processing
PostActions and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live.
By using PostActions, you understand that your information may be handled in those locations according to this policy and applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of certain personal information.
You can delete links from the dashboard when available, and you can contact us for account or data requests. We may need to verify your request before taking action.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the service and the information we process.
No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid submitting information you would not want to make public in a PostActions Link.
Adults
PostActions was created for adults and is intended for users who are 18 or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Retention and deletion
Free PostActions Links expire according to the product rules but remain visible as past-event pages unless removed.
PostActions Link records store a hashed creator IP for abuse-prevention correlation, not the raw IP address.
When a publish attempt is blocked or fails verification, raw IP may be stored in an abuse event for security audit context and removed after 60 days while hashed metadata is retained.
Creators can delete links from the dashboard. For account or data deletion requests, contact support.
